Objective: We aimed to compare paraoxonase levels, total antioxidant levels, total oxidant levels, oxidative stress index between Ranson score and C-reactive protein levels in acute pancreatitis.Methodology: Thirty two patients were included in the study. Their Ranson scores were recorded upon arrival at the hospital and at the 48th hour. During the recovery period (6th week), CRP, paraoxonase and oxidative stress index levels were simultaneously checked.
Results: Mean first ranson score of patients were 1.4
