Abstract

Objective: To observe the changes and correlations of serum interleukins (ILs), adhesion molecules and soluble E-selectin (sE-selectin) in children with allergic rhinitis, asthma and both diseases.

Methods: A total of 45 children with allergic rhinitis, 40 with asthma and 45 with allergic rhinitis complicated with asthma treated from September 2016 to January 2018 were selected. Meanwhile, 30 healthy subjects who received physical examinations were included as a control group. The levels of serum IL-4, IL-5, IL-10, soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (sICAM-1), soluble vascular adhesion molecule-1 (sVCAM-1), and sE-selectin were detected by double-antibody sandwich ELISA, and their correlations were subjected to Spearman
